Doctoral Research

The doctoral programme Polymer Science offered by the Bayreuth Graduate School of Mathematical and Natural Sciences (BayNAT) gives successful graduates of master’s programmes the opportunity to pursue a doctoral degree. There is also a fast-track admission option to the doctoral programme.

Doctoral researchers have close personal contact to their instructors and work in research teams. They can work on research topics that are application-oriented, related to basic research, and interdisciplinary in nature. The University of Bayreuth’s research infrastructure in polymer and colloid research provides an excellent environment, including modern laboratory facilities and an outstanding library.
